Bassoon Studio

Principal bassoonist of the Brooklyn Symphony, Max teaches students of every age and level — from first-time players to college audition candidates and adults returning to the instrument.

Lessons center on a warm, focused sound, dependable fundamentals, and the music each student is excited to play. As a conductor, Max also brings the view from the podium: how your part fits into the orchestra, how to read a conductor, and how to walk into an audition prepared.
